After high school he studied rhythm instruments in the Lyceum for music in Kabul and became the best known drummer of Afghanistan. In uncountable appearances and a vast variety of shows he was accompanying the best known singers like Rahimi Meheriar, Aidar Salim, and Nain Popal and was a frequent guest on the legendary Radio Kaboul. Being a musician he had to escape of the pursuit of the Taliban. He fled with his family to India. On his way to Europe via Russia he finally settled in Austria. He is also a member of the Persian “Ensemble Golestan” and since many years a loyal companion of Zohreh Jooya at her concerts all over the world.
