A graduate of the Academy of Music, with a masters degree from the “Conservatoire of the City of Vienna”. She pursues her singing career in the Oriental and the European cultures. Her western classical engagements have been in diverse opera performances throughout the world as well as on many television and radio shows. She interprets the traditional music of Iran and Afghanistan in a new way, presented on her several albums: ARC published “Persian Nights”, “Songs from Afghanistan” and “Music of the Persian Mystics”. Taraneh Music produced “Journey to Persia” and “Essence of Love”. Her interpretations of the ancient mystical poet Nezami with the scholar of Persian literature Parviz are Mamnun is available on CD. Her newest album is “La Double Absence” with the experimental music group Thilges and poetry of Molana Rumi is published by Staubgold
